Pure copper or hybrid CCAM?
Pure copper — solid 23 / 24 AWG conductors. For tenders, long PoE runs and heavy networks; carries PoE++ comfortably.
Hybrid CCAM — copper skin over an aluminium-alloy core, lower price. Wins budget CCTV, small office and retrofit jobs. We call CCAM CCAM — your customers never get a surprise.

WIAN LAN cables — common questions
How is the WIAN range organised?
Three series — Spark (CAT6, entry grade), Neo (CAT6A, 10G ready) and Gold (CAT6A with Wi-Barrier Tape, the flagship). Each comes indoor or outdoor, and Spark and Gold offer pure copper or hybrid CCAM. Thirteen cables in all, every one in 305 m boxes or reels.
How do I read a WIAN part code?
WC = WIAN cable. The first digit is the category (1 = CAT6, 2 = CAT6A), the second is the conductor (1 = hybrid CCAM, 2 = pure copper), and the last letter is the jacket colour — W white or G grey for indoor, K black LDPE for outdoor. Outdoor is always a K code.
What is Wi-Barrier Tape?
A non-metallic barrier fitted on every Gold Series cable that stops alien cross-talk from neighbouring cables in a bundle, riser or tray. Because it is non-metallic the cable stays U/UTP — no earthing, standard jacks and patch panels.
Are WIAN cables ISI marked and made in India?
Yes. WIAN cables carry ISI, ISO 9001 and CE marks, are manufactured in India by Channeltech Systems, and are Fluke-tested to their category standard.
